We recorded this show just a week after the sad passing of Clarence Clemmons. Frank Gallagher worked with Clemmons and he talks about him. We also get a bit gossipy in this episode - please don't take anything you hear too seriously, we are just a bunch of folks kvetching over tea. Players in this episode: Renee, Sarah Meakin, Philip Meakin, Frank & Leah Gallagher.

I stopped by Green Apple Books in the Richmond district of SF and had a nice long conversation about great books with owner, reader, writer Kevin Hunsanger.

Frank Gallagher has been a sound man for festivals and bands for the past 40 years, he's worked with everyone from the Ramones to Talking Heads and currently on tour with Tom Tom Club. As we sit sipping tea at Tal-Y-Tara the subject of lip-synching comes up.

My Friend Frank Gallagher and I have visits at the local tea shop. Tal-Y-Tara is located in San Francisco's Richmond District. Over the months Frank and I will cover everything: music, family, politics, gossip, Wee Scotty clothing/sewing store, and eyebrows.
Today's conversation picks up with a recap of the Wee Scotty Fashion Show, Eoin Harrington gossip, Leah's birth, and eyebrows. It is a discussion in a tea shoppe so you will hear a few voices including mine, Frank (he's the Scottsman), Mr. Meakin (shoppe owner), Sarah Meakin, and various visitors to Tal-Y-Tara.

After threatening to do this, and recording hours of material, I am finally almost ready to share my work. I have had wonderful conversations with many of San Francisco's musicians, artists, and characters. There will be music, discussion, and even a joke or two! Please check back.
